Please use the contact information on our site and we will be happy to discuss your requirements. Please be aware we get very busy during the summer periods due to weddings and festivals. If you are planning an event and would like to book the band please try to give us as much notice as possible.

The bands equipment can cater for functions of all sizes, we use a 4kw PA system which has the capability to use your CD's and Mp3's if required, this is a popular choice for functions where the band can provide background music rather than use a disco. We also carry an excellent selection of lighting to create a great atmosphere for your function.

We can if required provide excellent references from past functions, established function management, festival organisers and from agency representation.

The majority of our bookings in the past have come from "word of mouth" and this is something we are very proud of, this web site has been created to give an insight into who we are and what we play, here are a few of the more common questions we get asked.

What material do you play?

Our set is wide and varied, most parties have a mixed age range, our set will always have appeal for all ages, one of the things we are frequently complemented on by clients is our ability to vary our set to suit. Here are a few examples: The Beatles, Blur, Franz Ferdinand, The Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop, The Monkeys, The Kinks, Queen, The Jam, Steelers wheel, Bob Marley, Free, The Doors, Steve Miller, David Bowie, Green Day, Chuck Berry and we have even been known to throw in the occasional Jimi Hendrix cover!.These are just a small selection from our repertoire, for a comprehensive song list please email the band.

A sample set list can be provided if required, obviously if your booking a band for your special day/ function you want to see whats on offer. We change the set frequently to suit the function, for instance Death thrash metal never really hits the spot at a wedding (and we don't care how much your aunty Lil begs us to play it)...

Will the band suit my venue/Party ?

This is really dependant on what sort of function you want, we have played many weddings over the years as well as festivals and birthday parties for all age groups so the material we have in our set list is tried and tested to suit all tastes. Penthouse Shed are a guitar driven goodtime band so the inclusion of "The birdie song" and other classics from Black Laces past albums will not appear on our set list...we leave that to the discos!. The band is always professional and punctual, we have built up excellent client - band relations over the years which is why people will recommend us to others.

How Long do you play for?

The set is normally 2 x 1 hour sets, we generally like to take a small break between the sets to re-hydrate.

What does the band require?

We ask that sufficient stage area is reserved for the band and that we have enough electrical sockets in place for our equipment. We always ask for at least 1 1/2 hours to allow us to set up our equipment and sound check, we can generally remove the equipment in the same time. We also ask that good access and egress is available for all our equipment.
