Penthouse Shed's journey began back in 1994. As the years have passed the band has gained a solid reputation as being one of the best live bands on the circuit and as a result have been offered headlining slots at large festivals, supported well known bands touring the UK and have entertained thousands at society balls and private functions all over the country. Great reviews have followed the band wherever they play as well as reviews in"Melody Maker" and "Making Music" magazines complementing the bands material.

The roots of the band have always been "Rock and Blues" based and this is a big part of the sound of Penthouse Shed, in the early days blues was always high on the agenda and is still evident in the set list today as well as more modern classics. Penthouse Sheds vast repertoire spans many years from the 60's including atrists such as the Beatles through to modern day classics from the likes of Franz Ferdinandand many more. The band have never sold out to commercialism and although over the years Penthouse Shed have headed into larger arenas the material has been Rock based. The band pick songs for the set that we listen to on our stereos and these are the songs that stimulate us to want to go out and play them live, this is what makes being in a band an unbeatable passion and hopefully this radiates to listener.

The music has always been high energy, polished and entertaining and is guaranteed to leave you wanting more.
